Dear Friends,

This Boxing academy is a reality of my dream of creating a Centre of excellence to produce the best boxing champions for India, that inspired me to set it up.

It has also given me a platform of realising my vision to take Indian Boxing to glorious heights. Since i have been associated with this Sport at various levels of struggle to the highest level of being an Olympic medallist, i was sure that i need to initiate a positive step and action to contributing towards creating a conducive support system and nurture India’s next generation of champions, especially from the underprivileged sections of North East India, which is how the dream was born in my mind.

I have lived this dream for about 5 years with the rock solid and unconditional support of my husband and Co Founder of this organisation, Mr. Onler Kom. My family and other trustees of the foundation have been significant but silent contributors to set up and nurture this Boxing Foundation, from the day we began.

As I prepare and train for the upcoming ASIAN Games 2014 and other World level Boxing events in the near future including RIO OLYMPICS 2016, I look forward to spreading this academy on much wider and more accessible program to all parts of India . In the last 5 years we have created quite a few regional and national champions, with minimal and basic infrastructure. It has been a passionate training experience for me and my coaches.

Now, we would request a support association with you on an individual level and also to reach out to Corporates, Business Houses and Institutions that you are professionally and personally associated with, to help us take Indian Boxing to a higher level.

My team at the academy with my personal attention, will ensure the best deliverables possible in the Boxing Sport and in a synchronised effort to ensure your philanthropic and Corporate Social Responsibility Objectives.

As a proud Indian Athlete, I wish you all the very best and look forward to hearing and associating with you to bring about an inspiring change to the Olympic movement in India.

Best wishes and Jai Hind,
M.C. Mary Kom
